The replacement of the Monon structure North of Smoky Row began in the fall of 2022. This major reconstruction of the bridge, as well as widening of the creek for stormwater purposes, will continue until the Spring of 2023 when the asphalt plants reopen to surface the trail. todate the bridge embankments and footers have been reconstructed, and the bridge truces will arive and begin to be installed in January. Marked detour route takes pedestrians to Range Line road via the Hagen Burke trail and Smoky Row multiuse path.
